Looking for a fun, creative evening to unwind and learn new skills and get new ideas? Join us the fall for flexible, hands-on workshops where you choose your project!

Two relaxed and inspiring Maker Monday workshops are available this October.

Under expert guidance, you’ll explore quality materials, learn essential techniques, and leave with hand-finished pieces tailored to your personal style. All tools and supplies are included—just bring your imagination!

October 19, Jewelry Creations instructor, Carrie Lyons will lead a "charming" bracelet and earring-making session. Participants will have a variety of beautiful beads and charms to choose from and quality materials to work with. Carrie's will instruct key techniques to make several beautiful pieces for themselves and for gifts.

October 26, instructor and craft enthusiast Leslie Johnson will have a vibrant selection of base elements, embellishments and themed kits to inspire and guide in the creation of greeting cards, gift tags and personal projects like planners and junk journals.

Bosnian Language Classes with Mr. Azim Mujakic through Mehlville Community Education are starting soon! There are courses available for both kids and adults to learn the language and culture of the region. No previous knowledge is required. Attendees will learn common every day and simple conversational phrases.

This course meets on Tuesdays at Mehlville High School (3200 Lemay Ferry Road) from October 6 to December 8. Bosnian Kids is at 5 p.m., followed by Bosnian for Adults at 6 p.m.

We're now less than a week from our Experiencing Strings Family Information Night! We hope to see you there!

Families can learn more about our Experiencing Strings program at a Family Information Night at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, at the Mehlville School District Central Administration Building (2900 Lemay Ferry Road)!

You'll have the opportunity to meet instructors, and Nottelmann Music Co. will be present for instrument fittings and rentals.
