As someone who has maintained a 60+ pound weight loss for many years, I can tell you that lasting change wasn't built on perfect days.
It was built by continuing to take action, even when it was a small action.
The actions didn't need to be impressive. They just needed to be repeatable.
That's the power of habits. They help you keep moving forward consistently.

You're motivated every day. Just not always toward your goals.
Some days, I'm motivated to sit on the couch and watch Netflix.
What helps me is remembering that relaxing feels a lot better after I've moved my body and taken care of a few important things.
I've learned that "I'll do it later" creates more stress than just getting it done.
Once it's done, the dread is gone and I can actually relax.
Sometimes motivation isn't about wanting to do the healthy thing.
It's about wanting the feeling that comes after it's done.
💾 Save this for the next time you're waiting to feel motivated.
This one KILLS me. You will need a treadmill that goes past 10% for this one (most gyms go up to 15% or higher)
If this one is too advanced for you, go to levelwell.com and grab my free workout ebook! I have a ton of beginner and intermediate workouts.

One of the biggest mistakes I made when trying to lose weight was thinking I needed to completely change the way I ate overnight.
Every time I tried to overhaul everything, I eventually burned out.
What finally worked was making small improvements and giving myself time to practice them.
That's why I encourage people to start by looking at what they're already doing well. You may not need a complete nutrition makeover. You may just need to improve one or two meals.
Small changes may not feel exciting, but they're often the changes that stick.

I freaking LOVE using my walking pad under my desk to get steps. It’s truly something I look forward to during the day.
But this week, I have actively been getting myself away from the desk and doing a walk during the peak heat.
The more I do it, the more it helps my body adjust to the temperatures plus it reminds me that doing something that makes me feel uncomfortable creates confidence and easy for the future.
And sometimes a good crazy sweat just feels good.
I’m invincible

The best I got for this trend.
Just for fun and a really good excuse to use the professional head shots I rarely post.
I hope you got a good laugh!!
Break it down smaller = easier to get it done

Working out, eating healthy, going to bed early rather than staying up late scrolling might all be things you think about doing, but that intention doesn’t mean you will actually do them.
Your mind might view them as optional which can interfere with where they land as a priority.
One way to work on this- make the action simple and something your mind views as easy.
A 10 minute walk rather than an 1 hour intense workout
Adding a vegetable at lunch and but letting yourself eat a normal dinner.
Going to bed 15 minutes earlier rather than 2 hours.
Do the basics and show yourself you are capable, from there slowly add.
