Photos from Anchor to Life's post 06/15/2026

I was at a social event recently when someone said to me:

“I bet you can eat whatever you want.”

I laughed.

But the truth is, what you’re seeing isn’t luck.

It’s not genetics.

It’s not some magical metabolism.

It’s years of showing up.

Years of lifting weights.

Years of choosing protein more often than not.

Years of prioritizing sleep, recovery, and movement.

Years of making small decisions that support the life I want to live.

Do I eat perfectly?

Absolutely not.

There is pizza.

There is wine.

There are mini eggs.

But there is also consistency.

The bigger message isn’t about me.

It’s about the women in these photos.

A woman in her 30s building strength.

A woman in her 40s protecting strength.

A woman in her 50s maintaining strength.

A woman in her 70s using strength to continue doing the things she loves.

Different decades.

Different goals.

Same lesson.

Strength isn’t something you’re born with.

It’s something you build.

One workout.

One walk.

One meal.

One choice at a time.

And if you make it to the last slide, you’ll see me doing skull crushers with Driffin.

Because while strength is serious business, life doesn’t always have to be.

Live Audaciously. Age Powerfully.

As much as I love teaching Pilates, there is something incredibly special about being the student.

Today, I got to walk into class, put my teacher hat aside, and simply move.

No cueing.
No planning.
No watching the clock.
No thinking about the next exercise.

Just breathing, moving, and allowing someone else to guide the experience.

As someone who spends most of her days helping others take care of themselves, it was a beautiful reminder that I need that too.

Being on the receiving end of great instruction isn’t a luxury—it’s a gift.

My cup is full today. ❤️

These women arrived at retreat as strangers.

They left with new friendships, new perspectives, and a deeper connection to themselves.

Because that’s the power of a shift.

As we move through life, it’s easy to drift away from community.
It’s easy to lose touch with parts of ourselves.
It’s easy to stay anchored to old stories, old roles, and old expectations.

But growth requires something different.

It requires the courage to ask:
What am I ready to leave behind?
What am I ready to step into?

That’s what Anchor & Shift is all about.

A weekend to pause.
To move.
To reflect.
To laugh.
To reconnect with yourself and with other women navigating many of the same transitions.

Through movement, meaningful conversation, time in nature, and a whole lot of fun, you’ll explore what you’re ready to release, what you’re ready to embrace, and who you’re becoming in this next season of life.

Come find your anchor.

And discover what becomes possible when you give yourself permission to shift.
