Many West Elementary students concluded the RISE READ ROAR Reading Challenge with a HUGE ROAR 🐯 as they celebrated with 🍕 pizza and a movie. Of the 158 students that completed the original goal of reading 1,000 minutes, there were 63 ambitious readers that read more than 2,000 minutes. These readers celebrated with a pizza/movie picnic in the gym.

Because of the widespread interest shared among students and parents as well as the success students experienced growing as a reader, West Elementary will be bringing back the RISE READ ROAR Reading Challenge for the '26-27 school year. Be watching for more information after Labor Day. Until then, we hope our students enjoy a little Summer Book Bingo as they leave our halls for the next several months.

🎉 It’s Tuesday! 🎉
Ozark is excited to celebrate our support staff on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Today we'd like to honor Ms. Kandie Jones, who serves students and staff each day with a warm smile and positive attitude.
❤️🖤 She works beautifully with her teammates and helps make our school lunches not only delicious but also a bright spot in the day for everyone.

On Monday students that reached their goal of reading 1,000 minutes during the 4th quarter celebrated with some games, a snack, and craft. 🎉 Congratulations to you and for all your hard work during this quarter! Of the 276 students that participated in the challenge, 158 completed the challenge. These 276 students read a total of 380,388 minutes from the beginning of the year to the end. That's a lot of books! 👍 West is proud!
