Seckman High School~Class of 2000

Hi guys!! Kylene (Conley)Huelsing here! Hope you all are having a great summer. I spoke with the event coordinator at WOW today and she asked about how many people we were hoping to have with us on Sept 12th from 6p-10p. I originally didn’t think they needed a number, but she wants to make sure they have the right staffing set up for us. She said they have the mezzanine level reserved for us, which has its own bar, indoor seating, outdoor seating (with fans/couches/fire pits), karaoke booth, and golf simulator bay. They have good food, a big bar selection, and lots of activities. Food, drink, and play is pay as you go. Please come and visit with everyone! Significant others and kids are welcome to join in on the fun. Could you please reply to this post as your somewhat formal RSVP of the number of people you plan to have with you, so we have a better idea of our numbers?

What’s better than a 25 year Reunion?

A 26 year reunion!!!!

Things didn’t line up like we hoped they would for getting this scheduled for April. We are working on setting a date for September of this year, so everyone can get it on their calendars. Sorry for the delay.

Can hardly believe that the class of 2024 is months away from graduation. Wasn’t it just us about 10-15 years ago? 😬 This looks like a fun project for Seckman alumni to pass along to this new upcoming group of graduates.

Calling all SHS Graduates!
We are seeking SHS graduates to create short videos talking about life after high school. This can be a fun TikTok-like clip, nothing formal. These videos will be shared with current seniors to better prepare them for life after Seckman.
Please send these clips to [email protected] by Friday, January 18th. Your help is greatly appreciated!

In your video, tell us the following:
-Your name and the year you graduated.
-Are you attending a 4-year university, 2-year college, trade school, military, or in the workforce?
-Which university/college/trade school/military branch/career are you a part of?
-How is this different from high school?
-What advice do you have for current seniors on how to be successful after high school?
-Anything else you would like to share with current seniors (what you love about your college/trade/career, what is more difficult than you expected or easier than you expected, etc). Any information you share will be helpful!

Sarah graduated a year ahead of us and has been battling cancer for some time now. We wanted to share this, in case anyone feels compelled to donate.

Our class has experienced incredible loss in less than a week's time. Chrissy (Conner) Bonds and Cody Greene will both be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends in the difficult days, weeks and months ahead. Feel free to share any stories/memories of Chrissy or Cody here.
