Hearts United in Peace
As a new school year begins at Visitation Academy, we invite our alumnae to join us in embracing this year's theme, Hearts United in Peace.
Jesus reminds us, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
St. Francis de Sales reminds us, "Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever."
As daughters of Visitation, may we carry Christ's peace into our homes, workplaces, parishes, and communities, becoming instruments of hope and reconciliation wherever we are.
How will you share Christ's peace with someone this week?

Celebrating 80 years of life and friendships that have stood the test of time!
The Viz Class of 1964 still stays close, meeting monthly on Zoom for those out of town, and over breakfast for those nearby.
Dolores Ruzicka recently celebrated her 80th birthday with Peg Concanon Nieman and Cathie Majka Ott.
What a wonderful milestone and a special day! 🎉🎂❤️

Heart Speaks to Heart
This week, we celebrate the Feast of St. Jane de Chantal, co-founder of the Order of the Visitation. Her deep friendship with St. Francis de Sales reminds us that the greatest friendships are those that draw us closer to Christ.
St. Jane wrote,
"Put all your trust in God, who will never abandon you."
As Visitation alumnae, we know the gift of friendships formed through shared faith, laughter, and life's joys and challenges. This week, reach out to a friend who has walked beside you in faith, offer a prayer for her, or simply let her know how grateful you are for the gift of her friendship.
How can you be a friend who helps someone grow closer to Christ this week?

Some connections last long after graduation!
Christine Honigfort '21 and Karen Schmiedeler '21 still get together with Mrs. Shortt twice a year to catch up. Here they are enjoying great conversation—and delicious crêpes—at St. Louis Crêperie! 💕
