BHSA of Maryville

We are very pleased to announce our biggest event of the year: our Bosnian Independence Day celebration.

This event will be hosted alongside Saint Louis University's Bosnian Student Association, as well as Webster University's Bosnian Culture Club.

The event will take place on Friday, March 8th, 2024, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. It will be held at Maryville University in Gander Hall (refer to the map provided in the next slide). There is free parking all over campus; we have highlighted the closest spots to Gander Hall on the map.

This event is open to all, free of charge. We do ask that you fill out the Google Form located in our bio and RSVP for yourself, as well as the number of guests planning to attend with you. The event will feature traditional Bosnian foods, desserts, dancers, music, and much more!

We are delighted to have this event held at Maryville University and hope to have you all come and join us as we celebrate Bosnia and Herzegovina!

Drago nam je najaviti naš najveći događaj u godini: našu proslavu Dana Nezavisnosti Bosne.

Ovaj događaj smo zajedno organizovali sa studentskom udrugom Bosne i Hercegovine uneverziteta Saint Louis i klubom za Bosansku kulturu uneverziteta Webster!

Dogadaj će se održati u petak, 8. marta 2024. godine, od 19:00 (7:00) do 21:00 (9:00) sati. Održat će se na kampusu Maryville Univeristy u Gander Hall (pogledajte kartu koja se nalazi u sljedećem slajdu). Besplatan parking je dostupan diljem kampusa; označili smo najbliže parkirne prostore Gander Hall na karti.

Ovaj događaj je otvoren za sve, besplatan je. Molimo vas da ispunite Google Form koji se nalazi u našem profilu i potvrdite prisustvo za sebe, kao i za broj gostiju koji planirate dovesti sa sobom. Na događaju će biti tradicionalna bosanska hrana, slastice, plesači, glazba i još mnogo toga!

Oduševljeni smo što će se ovaj događaj održati u Maryville University i nadamo se da ćete svi doći i pridružiti nam se u proslavi Bosne i Hercegovine!

Our first ever Bosnian Night was a success! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who came out to support our group. This event has been planned and stressed over for the past month to make every detail perfect and all the hard work has paid off. We would once again like to thank Kud Djerdan, Mali Hor Ilahije, Alen Deba, and Daniel Dizdarevic for coming and being key elements in our night. We would like to thank Zlatne Kapi for food, and since our turnout was bigger than expected, we know for next time to order more food.
