Standing On The Shoulders of Giants

Navigating a journey into medicine is far from easy, and it’s even more difficult when you feel you are doing it alone. My journey to get to where I am today was one of immense uncertainty, constant confusion, and trial by error. It is for this reason that I created my organization “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants”, to provide mentorship to students and guide them on this path. For high school freshman to undergraduate seniors, I offer mentorship and guidance on a path to medicine.

Such a fun time!! Had a blast with .and.girls_club in St. Louis MO for an amazing event! Standing on the Shoulders of Giants is dedicated to providing interactive exposure to medicine for students. We got to do a “Healthy Bear Clinic” for our 6-9 year olds and “Think Like A Surgeon” for our 10+ groups. Huge thank you to .wittgen and for their HUGE help with this event. Incredibly thankful and excited to return again❤️🤍 💙

Boys and Girls Club of St. Louis has invited us back!! Looking for medical and pre-medical students for a day of volunteering. April 20th from 10am to 2:30 PM we will be hosting interactive medical sessions for ages 6-9, 10-12, and 13+. If interested please reach out, it will be a fun and engaging event with an amazing partner with my SOTSOG organization! ❤️🤍💙

Excited for our first mentoring and teaching session on 3/12 where we will talk about skull anatomy, learn how to listen to the heart, and talk about the pathway to medical school!
