Part 2 of 2: Double the Trophies, Double the Pride! 🏆🏆

The attendance celebrations didn't stop with the treat cart! Yesterday, our superintendent, Dr. Bracht, stopped by to deliver some major hardware for the 2025–2026 school year.

We brought home TWO district trophies:
🌟 Average Daily Attendance: For consistently showing up and filling our classrooms with bright smiles!
🌟 Biggest Attendance Comeback: Officially awarded for "Reducing Chronic Absenteeism," which is just a fancy way of saying our school family worked together to make sure every single student knows how much they matter here every single day. We made huge strides in making daily attendance a top priority, and it shows! 📈 💪

Even sweeter news? As a whole school, we officially hit our goal of 95% Average Daily Attendance! 🎉

To celebrate everyone’s hard work, our principal, Dr. Powers, took a special victory lap through the hallways with the Treat Cart so students could pick out a tasty reward.

Exciting Improvements Are Underway at Affton Fire!

The Affton Fire Protection District is excited to announce that construction will soon begin on the renovation of House 1, located at 9282 Gravois Road.

The renovation of Houses 1 and 3 is an important investment in the District’s infrastructure and will provide updated living and working spaces for our firefighter/paramedics, improved training facilities, and expanded administrative capabilities to better support the services we provide to our community.

This project is funded through the taxpayer-approved bond initiative passed in 2024, and we are incredibly grateful to our residents for their continued trust and support.

During construction, there will be some temporary changes to our operations. Administrative staff will operate from House 2, 8110 Valcour Avenue, and House 1 crews will temporarily operate from House 2 and House 3, 4990 Seibert Avenue.

Most importantly, our commitment to serving the community remains unchanged. Emergency response coverage will remain in place throughout construction, and public safety will continue to be our highest priority.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, our administrative staff, and all of the men and women of the Affton Fire Protection District, I would like to offer a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our residents for your continued support and patience as we make these important improvements to your Fire District.
