Congratulations to our ILSO track athletes! Boys took 3rd place overall in the LSAM State meet. In addition, Connor was the state champ in the 800m and repeated champ in the 1600m. Grant was the repeated state champ for Shot Put AND set a new state record. There were several PR’s on both the girls and boys sides. All athletes, coaches and fans represented ILSO well! To God be the glory! Well done, Eagles🦅

The musical performance of God Squad was a great success! Our students demonstrated their talents and dedication as they brought to life a modern-day story rooted in Ephesians 6:10-18, focusing on the Armor of God. Many thanks to ALL the parents, grandparents, teachers and staff, who contributed their time, expertise, and talents to make this a special night!

It was a special chapel for our school family as we celebrated a baptism of one of our students. We also welcomed our guest, Pastor Lawrence, from St. James Lutheran Church in University City. His message reminded us that God has prepared a beautiful place for us in heaven to live with Him eternally. What a reassuring promise and gift!

Ready Set THIRD was a great opportunity for our second graders as the third graders introduced them to the West Building and some of the new routines they will experience next year. Activities included: car “drop off”, how to get to the third grade classroom, putting items in lockers, learning what is similar and different between second and third grade, hot lunch routine, and dismissal with devotions in the gym! We’ve got SUPER third graders on their way!

Kudos to our ILSO Junior Boys and Girls Track team for securing 4th place in the City Tournament! Enjoy some pictures of our athletes pushing themselves to do their best!

Praying God’s blessings to Connor, Grant and Stephen tomorrow on their Confirmation day. It was a blessing to hear them share their faith in Christ as they read their essays, and their commitment to follow Him through life.

Last week, ILSO partnered with the St. Louis Chess Club to host our 2nd Annual Quads Chess Tournament. 40 students in grades 3-8 from Immanuel Olivette, Immanuel Washington, Messiah Weldon Spring, Salem Affton, & St. John Ellisville competed. Congrats to 4th grader, David, for winning his quad!
