Our SOLBERG® EVOLUTION 3% SFFF is the first Newtonian on the U.S. Department of Defense Qualified Products List to also secure FM 5130 approval.
Newtonian means the foam has water-like viscosity, and the FM 5130 approval helps simplify the transition to fluorine-free technology for aircraft hangars, fuel storage facilities, and other fixed fire protection systems.

PHOS-CHEK® is available in different viscosities, enabling aerial firefighters to match the retardant to the aircraft, fuel type, and mission.
• Low-viscosity is thin like water, allowing it to pe*****te dense forest canopies to coat the forest floor.
• Medium-viscosity is thicker, helping the retardant resist wind drift and evaporation while blanketing the tops of vegetation.
• High-viscosity holds together during drops from greater heights, improving coverage and placement while reducing drift before reaching the target.

Not every fire can be extinguished with water. To battle liquid fires, such as gasoline spills and jet fuel incidents, Class B foam is used. When added to water, it creates a foam blanket that restricts oxygen, seals in volatile liquids, and lowers the temperature of the liquid and surrounding surfaces.
