Colombia’s Amazon River may disappear in the coming decades. That’s the alarming conclusion of a new study by Colombia’s National University (Universidad Nacional). According to researcher Juan Gabriel León’s findings, the share of the Amazon River’s flow transiting through Colombia has dropped from 30% in 1993 to just 19.5% as of June 2025.

The study shows that the Amazon River is gradually being diverted toward Peru, which now receives 81.5% of its flow.

True healing is not found only in a bottle. While medicine has its place, many of life's greatest remedies are free: movement, rest, nature, laughter, gratitude, deep breathing, meaningful relationships, and moments of stillness. Care for your body, calm your mind, and nourish your spirit. Small daily habits often become the strongest medicine of all.

This is not meant to create fear,
but awareness.

In Buddhism, this truth is called anicca—impermanence.
Nothing stays.
Not our struggles…
not our successes…
not even the people we hold closest.

And when you truly understand this,
something shifts within you.

You become softer.
More patient.
Less attached to control,
and more present with what is.

You stop taking things for granted—
because you see how fragile everything really is.

You speak kinder words.
You hold people a little closer.
You waste less time on ego, anger, and pride.

Because deep down, you know—
everything can change in a single breath.

So stay humble.
Be grateful for ordinary moments.
And don’t postpone love, forgiveness, or peace.

Because nothing is permanent…
and that is exactly why everything matters.
