About last night... 💜🌟 Our hearts (and our auditorium) were full as we celebrated the 30th Annual SOAR Awards!

Last night, we honored 38 incredible nominees and announced our 6 SOAR Award winners for 2026. For three decades, these awards have recognized the people who make a truly special place to learn, work, and grow. From our classrooms to our community partners, these honorees represent the very best of us.

🚨This morning our Emergency Response Team participated in a Cardiac Emergency Response Plan drill through St. Louis Children’s Hospital Project ADAM led by Dr. Deepa. Our school successfully earned the designation as a Heart Safe School! 🫀

Big news, Affton! 🌟 We are thrilled to announce that Jennifer Dickmann, sixth grade social studies teacher at Rogers Middle School - Affton, has been named the Affton School District 2026-27 Teacher of the Year!

As both a dedicated educator and a proud member of the Affton community, Jennifer is known for building deep relationships rooted in respect and trust. Whether she’s greeting students first thing in the morning or leading innovative projects like her famous "King Tut" investigation, Jennifer ensures every student feels seen and supported.
