Our final Senior Spotlight goes to Landon M! Landon is a graduate of Duchesne High School. While at Duchesne, Landon was Captain of Drexel House, captain of the varsity soccer team, state champion, and captain of the varsity volleyball team. This fall, Landon will be a member of the men’s soccer team at State Fair Community College. He is majoring in business and pursuing his HVAC technician certificate. Landon’s advice is to, “trust the process”. Congratulations and good luck, Landon!

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Kiley H! She is a graduate of Kirkwood High School. While at Kirkwood, Kiley was involved in theater, choir, NHS, vice president of START club (volunteer tutoring for refugees), and Tri-M music honors society. She was also the Editor-in-Chief for The Kirkwood Call, a summer camp counselor, and a member of Quill and Scroll journalism honors society. This fall, Kylie will attend University of Southern California majoring in legal studies and psychology. She says, “my favorite memory is the days when we finished up testing-specific activities and just got to talk with Dr. Kleitz about anything — from college plans to careers.” Congrats, Kylie!

Our next Senior Spotlight is Marah S! A graduate at Ladue Horton Watkins High School, Marah was a member of the Laduettes Dance Team. She will be attending the University of Alabama this fall majoring in business. Marah says, “[My] biggest piece of advice is, as you are studying, to give it time, because it doesn't click right away.” We wish you the best of luck, Marah! Today’s spotlight goes to Tatum S! Tatum is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy. She is a member of the lacrosse team, tennis team, dive team, robotics, and Cardinal Glennon Junior Executive Board. She was chosen as the Salutatorian for SJA as well as the St. Louis Post Dispatch Scholar Athlete. Tatum was 1 of 6 players named to the MSLA Girls Lacrosse All Academic Team. This fall, Tatum will be attending the University of Missouri majoring in mathematics on the pre-med track. She was recently awarded the Discover Fellow Scholarship. She says, “The lesson on commas and correct grammar changed my writing dramatically!” Congratulations, Tatum, and good luck with your future plans!

Our next senior is Ella G! Ella is a graduate of John Burroughs. She was a member of the soccer and volleyball teams. She also is a haunted house actor as well as the leader of the “Sunday Funday” service group. Ella will be attending Boston University this fall to continue her studies. Her advice is, “focus first on what you know best, and work hard to stay consistent.” Congratulations, Ella, and good luck in the future!

Our next Senior Spotlight goes to Lauren L! Lauren is a graduate of Villa Duchesne. While at Villa, Lauren was involved in Cardinal Glennon Junior Guild, field hockey, lacrosse, dive team, Spanish club, NHS, Spanish Honor Society, and the House Leaders Program. She will be attending the University of Georgia on the pre-med track this fall. Lauren’s advice is, “do what you know how to do and be confident with it. If you aren't confident, skip it and move on.” Congrats, Lauren!

Today’s Senior Spotlight goes to Molly S! Molly is a graduate of St. Joesph’s Academy. While at St. Joe’s, she was a member of theatre, Frontenac Voices Honor Choir, Class Office (student government), Leadership Team for Arch City Kids Theatre Troupe, St. Joe Angel Ambassador, volunteer at St. Louis Crisis Nursery, St. Anselm Youth Group, NHS, and St. Joe Sister Josepha Scholars. She is attending the College of William & Mary this fall with plans for a career in education. Molly says, “from Dr. Kleitz, I learned to work smarter, not harder. I learned that standardized tests are not about knowing every concept, but instead having the skills to problem-solve when you don't know a given concept. Dr. Kleitz taught me these skills, which helped me to feel more confident in myself and my abilities going into the test.” Congrats, Molly!

Today’s spotlight goes to Olivia S! Olivia is a senior at Lutheran High School St. Charles. She is a member of the Sapphires Dance team, tennis team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, student ambassadors, student council, and NHS. This fall, Olivia will attend Mizzou majoring in business and finance with plans to become a financial advisor. She says her favorite moment was, “my tutor, Mira, encouraging me to do my best and feeling accomplished after every practice test”. Congratulations and best of luck in the future, Olivia!

Today’s Senior Spotlight is Zachary T! Zachary is a senior at Chaminade College Preparatory School. Zachary is a member of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank Student Board of Directors, president of NHS, Marianist Life Community Core Member, Chaminade Advancement/Fundraising ambassador, Assistant Middle School Tennis Coach, Kairos retreat leader, Prospective Student "Esto Vir" ambassador, LUKE18 retreat leader, Senior Altar Server, Student Newspaper journalist, Investment Club member, Missouri YAG House of Reps Delegate, Recruits Baseball Club, and Chaminade Baseball. He also founded The Success Sitdown: Chaminade's Career Podcast and was the Mailroom Coordinator at Dot Foods, Inc. He will be attending the University of Notre Dame this fall through ND-Holy Cross Gateway Program. Zachary plans to major in Accounting with hopes of pursuing his MBA after undergraduate studies. His advice, “everything that is given to you is an opportunity to grow. It is up to you to take advantage of the tools you were given and capitalize on them.” Congrats, Zachary!

Our next spotlight goes to Clara C! Clara is a senior at Ladue High School. She is involved in soccer, Sparkle, the president of Women In Science and Engineering, founder and co-president of Women in Leadership, and research in the CHROME lab at Saint Louis University. Clara will be attending Duke University to study mechanical engineering with hopes of designing adaptive devices for people with disabilities. She says, “Mira gave me all the tools to succeed, and helped me turn my worst section into my best.” Congratulations, Clara!
