What a joyous time yesterday afternoon spent with loved ones - AKA, the Miss Glenda's Kids Korner family! Our "Holiday / Wish Sasha and Quinn good luck with the baby!" open house was a blast! Thanks to everyone for joining us!

Assembling this new baby swing was definitely a two-person job. Good thing Nora was here today to help Mr. Jon! (She also helped with the new TV!)

Quite a day for us today at Miss Glenda's Kids Korner!
First, we welcome baby Emmie to our gang!
Also, today is our 11th anniversary – that's a whole lotta great kids!
Lastly, one of first-ever kids is celebrating a birthday today – dear Ava is now officially a teenager! WOW – hard to believe! Happy birthday, Ava – we love you!

We received the gift of a lifetime yesterday – parents Mike and Kinsley Poepping (Carly, Callan and Judah) dropped off a hardbound book they had made – a pictorial history of Miss Glenda's Kids Korner. It's 30-plus pages with what has to be around 150 pictures of almost 11 years of pure joy. Mike and Kinsley touched base with other parents to encourage them to provide pictures. We thank you all! We are moved and appreciative in ways we can't express. This is a chance to say thanks for your friendship, for the laughs we've had, for the toys that so many of the parents have donated, but mostly, for trusting us with your kids – that is the true gift.

The timing of this lovely present is interesting because we're in the middle of a kid changeover, if you will. So many of our longtime kids have grown up and are starting school. Meanwhile, we have three new babies, plus a couple on the way! We'll miss our kids who are moving on, but as one of their parents said, "it's not goodbye; just see you soon."

Indeed.
