Lately I've been waking up early in an attempt to rise and set with the sun. So far so good and I'm sleeping much better! There's a great benefit of knowing how to read the science and apply it to life. I think 2025 is the year of LIGHT and circadian biology! So much to learn :)

Hi Facebook friends! I decided it was time to step into the TikTok world! I'm going to post every day for six weeks to see if I can get some momentum going and work out the kinks. I would SO APPRECIATE a follow - and likes and comments and bookmarks and all that - to bestow upon the algorithm bots.
I’ve just posted a series on tracking and monitoring our kids and will probably focus more directly on education and health next. I’m a public health professor, after all, lol. Let me know if there are things you’d like to hear about or if you have any coaching about how to do this better! There’s still a lot to figure out 🙂

I'm excited to be teaching a course this summer exploring the complexities of COVID-19. The class is fully on-line and open to all current graduate students at Saint Louis University, visiting students, SLU graduates and undergraduate students with permission. Come join us! Feel free to share.
*EDITED* Due to the interest in this topic, we're planning to offer a specific undergraduate section in the fall or spring. Undergraduate seniors can still enroll in this summer section with permission.
Really looking forward to the presentations in my capstone class tomorrow! These students have worked so hard in such turbulent waters. Those of you hiring will really hit the jackpot with this crew!
