🌟 Women’s History Month Spotlight
Victoria Brainerd, Parks & Recreation Specialist

Victoria Brainerd joined the Hazelwood Parks and Recreation Department in December 2023 as a Program Specialist, where she plans and coordinates recreation programming for Hazelwood residents.

Victoria is especially passionate about youth programming and brings nearly a decade of summer camp facilitation experience to her role. Her dedication helped drive the resurgence of the Hazelwood Summer Day Camp Program, which has continued to grow since Summer 2024. She remains excited to expand and enhance the program for the community in the years ahead.

You will often find Victoria working at the front desk of the Hazelwood Community Center or Civic Center East, where she values the opportunity to connect with residents face-to-face and strives to always be a friendly and welcoming presence in the community.

Outside of work, Victoria enjoys baking, attending live theater performances, and spending time with her fiancé, Mariah, and their two dogs, Finn and April.

As we celebrate Women’s History Month and this year’s theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” we thank Victoria for the energy, creativity, and dedication she brings to Hazelwood Parks & Recreation.

Last week our alumnae chapter celebrated 128 years of Kappa Delta sisterhood! We recognized our sisters who have reached milestone anniversaries of 25, 50, 60 and 75 years! What a wonderful demonstration of lifelong sisterhood. 💚
