A message from family member Kiki Chou of Emmetsburg, Iowa:

Hi Schmidt family! ❤️
I wanted to share a little idea I’ve been thinking about. We have an Airbnb dedicated to my great-grandparents, Lula and Bill Schmidt, called the Lula & Bill Legacy Inn.
Since the house is meant to celebrate family and their legacy, I would love to also highlight some of the amazing things members of our family have created and built over the years.
If anyone in the family is an author, I would love to display your book at the Airbnb for guests to see and enjoy. If you’d like to send me a copy, please message me on Facebook!
I’d also love to feature family-owned businesses. If you have a flyer, brochure, business card, or anything else you’d like displayed at the Airbnb, I would be happy to have a little area dedicated to supporting and promoting our family businesses.
I think it would be really special for guests to see not only Lula and Bill’s story, but also the generations of family and all the wonderful things everyone has gone on to do. ❤️
Please message me if you’d like to be included!
