🎓SLU PT Alumni Spotlight: Richard Guillen
DPT Class of 2020

With pre-commencement just a week away, we’re excited to spotlight SLU PT alumni Richard Guillen. From making memories with classmates at Fresh Gatherings during his time at SLU, Richard has gone on to build an impressive career. He now works with Division I athletes preparing for the NFL Combine and Pro Days while also earning his board certification in Orthopedics and becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. We’re incredibly proud of Richard and all he has accomplished, and we look forward to all that’s ahead for him!

We’re proud to celebrate our students in the Department of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training who participated in the Senior Legacy Symposium and showcased their outstanding research efforts! 👏

- Mary Gogola (BSES-AT) and Jordan Dixson (BS-HS) presented “Measures of Agreement Among Arch Flexibility Measures,” which was part of a year-long research project.

- Jonathan Haug (ESES-PT) presented “Examining the Influence of Task Complexity on Dual Task Performance in Parkinson’s Disease.”
