The countdown to the new school year continues as we revisit 10 of our top stories from a great 2025-26…

In November, Central High boys swimming officially entered dynasty territory, winning its fourth consecutive MSHSAA Class 1 state title. The Colts were paced by senior Brody Blatt and junior Connor Muran, who each brought home two individual golds, alongside a clean sweep of the relays! 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆

The countdown to the new school year is underway as we revisit 10 of our top stories from a great 2025-26!

Our students continue to show significant improvements in both growth AND achievement. In November, we shared Parkway’s performance score of 91% on the 2025 Missouri state report card. This score ranked second among Missouri school districts with 15,000+ students and represents the highest we've seen in four years. 📈

The countdown to the new school year is on! With just over a month to go, join us every Tuesday and Thursday until day one as we revisit 10 of our top stories from a great 2025-26 school year.

Kickstarting our list: the Broadway Kids Club at Wren Hollow Elementary! 🎭 A great example of how extracurricular opportunities in Parkway build strong community connections through student participation and the support of teachers, staff and volunteers.

Recent South High grad Mia Balella navigated high school from a different vantage point. Long treks between classes, hard-to-see signage, and classroom furniture like tall lab tables all posed physical challenges.

Passionate about student advocacy, Mia invited Dr. Greg Mathison, Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, to a tour of South High to shed light on the daily realities and needs related to campus accessibility.

🎥 Watch the video to see Mia’s leadership in action and to hear an exciting update from Dr. Mathison on a new 2022 Prop S-funded elevator project!

"Being treated like an adult forced me to step up my game..." 🛠️

Instead of a typical summer break, West High rising senior Adler Donaldson is spending his days as a paid apprentice at Hydromat, Inc., a precision transfer-machinery manufacturer. He is one of two Parkway students who secured an apprenticeship this year through the Career WayZ Youth Apprenticeship Accelerator program.

Listen to Adler and his apprenticeship supervisor discuss how working with industry experts is providing him a head start for future engineering roles.

What’s as patriotic as America250? How about a Parkway school carrying the Patriot nickname and celebrating its semicentennial (50th anniversary) this upcoming school year?

We love seeing the Hometown Heroes banners displayed around the City of Manchester, MO and the Parkway South High School campus, honoring past and present members of our Armed Forces! 🇺🇸

9 years and counting as a recipient of the ‘Best Communities for Music Education’ national award! 🎶

What makes music education in Parkway so special? It's our talented students, our award-winning educators, our all-district concerts, a strong foundation of early music instruction, and a supportive community that fills the seats at every performance.

“You're never going to feel left out at River Bend. Everyone's connected, and everyone is always there for you. You can always go to someone and ask, can you help me go through this?"

Hearing our students and staff talk about what it means to be a Tiger makes it easy to see why River Bend Elementary is Parkway’s newest National School of Character, announced by Character.org this spring.

Congratulations to the entire River Bend community of students, staff, and parents for establishing a school culture where the students feel cared for, supported, and inspired to grow!

We need your help finding this chicken coop a home and recouping the coop costs! Thanks to our partners at Poettker Construction Company, who have already donated to support this project and future CTE projects for Parkway students. Hit the link in the comment section if you’re interested in the coop or want to donate to future projects.

Students spent the past semester collaborating across curricular areas to build a chicken coop from scratch, and we followed the process from start to finish. Hear how advanced construction, marketing, and even FACs students combined their skillsets and learning when bringing the chicken coop to market. 🐓🏡🛠️
