Inner Workings: The Heart and Mind Connection II The Dance of Evolving

The silent, often subconscious conversation that is taking place inside us is one of the most vital communications we will ever find ourselves engaged in. It’s the dialogue of emotion-based signals between our hearts and our brains, also known as the heart-brain connection. Learn how to stay in a conscious state of flow while checking ourselves daily to keep our minds connected to our heart’s inner whispering. Also learn how we can help our children stay in touch with this heart-brain connection and stay true to their most authentic selves.

Stronger Than Yesterday Authentic Author’s Program takes 3rd-6th grade students through the entire writing process with an online writing coach. Students receive their very own online classroom where they can interact and learn from explicit modeling of writing instruction and then practice each skill or strategy with feedback from their coach. Their final sessions are celebrated with a live Zoom conferencing session where we recognize gains and give final feedback. Confidence soars as students then publish their work in a magazine article format to save as a PDF to keep forever!

Showing true kindness without conditions starts from within. While creating content for an upcoming writing program, I have made many discoveries about myself that have moved me forward as a leader. Even though it feels vulnerable to share, I hope that this content encourages others to be kind to themselves and feel true purpose within each day.💕

Many of us are on similar paths that have moved us to tidy what’s inside, so we can offer our true light to the world. This is the first year that I have truly opened up enough to become aware of what is actually holding me back in so many aspects of my life and what can propel me forward to continue to serve in a meaningful way.

The following are truths that I look forward to embracing in 2022:
1. Be yourself for yourself by focusing on your actions and how you respond to the world.
2. What broke you will not heal you. Taking ownership of your own healing comes from within.
3. These mountains that you are carrying are meant to be climbed and conquered (one by one).

To wrap up, home is known as a place where you feel like you belong without conditions. We have the ability to have this feeling within ourselves. Greatness is being your true, authentic self to the core and owning every part of who you are.

If you are also on a similar journey, celebrate small wins and keep moving forward. Consistent steps result in major growth over time. ❤️🌳❤️

Stronger Than Yesterday Tutoring is proud to announce that the mindset focus of the month is living a life with intention. How do we live a life that’s productive? We do this by living a life that is lined with our values. Students will be discovering what is meaningful to them and then learning how to line up the smallest moments throughout each day with intention.

If you would like more information about this type of coaching for your child, contact Anna VanNostrand.
