Reaching out to graduates of Rosati-Kain High School (St. Louis, Missouri) Class of 1970 to publiciz

Thanksgiving Blessing from Class of 1970 reunion.

A reunion is both a celebration of remembrance and of gratitude. We remember and give thanks for our classmates and teachers both living and dead who supported us during our sensitive adolescent years with positive, accepting energy. We remember and give thanks for the sisterhood we formed, the family we became.

Let us say together, “We give thanks.”

Our years at Rosati cultivated rich soil for the development of the women we are today. As Isabel wrote so beautifully,

“Rosati grows confident women. Independent thinkers. Good local and global citizens. Women who think as individuals but can work with others for the greater good. Women of substance who don’t necessarily take themselves seriously. Women of faith . . . contributing their God given gifts”

Look around this room isn’t this true of us?So our reunion gratitude is not only for the past relationships and experiences but gratitude for our present selves.

Let us say together, “We give thanks.”

We give thanks for our classmates who have died. Let’s take a moment of silence to remember with gratitude
