Happy Father’s Day to the man who taught me how to be strong, kind, and always do the right thing, even when it’s not easy. Your guidance, love, and quiet strength have shaped me in more ways than I can count. Thank you for always having my back, being my role model, and showing me what it means to be a great man. I’m proud to be your son. Love you, Dad! 💙

What’s up Grateful doesn’t even feel like a big enough word right now.
Getting to stand up in front of the SLUH donor community and share my experience was an honor I won’t forget. SLUH has been so supportive of my initiative, not just cheering it on, but giving me the room, the encouragement, and the foundation to actually build something that matters and serve others while I do it. That kind of backing is rare, and I don’t take an ounce of it for granted.
Because that’s what this place is. SLUH isn’t just a school. It’s a brotherhood. Men for Others isn’t a motto on a wall here, it’s the air you breathe. The way this community shows up for its students, and invests in what we’re trying to do in the world, is something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
I also have to give a huge shoutout to President Alan Carruthers as he steps into a well-earned retirement. Eight years of pouring into this place and into students like me, leaving behind a legacy that’s going to keep blossoming long after the page turns. Thank you for your leadership, your heart, and for believing in what young people are capable of.
To every donor who showed up and invests in this community the way you do, thank you for believing in us. I promise to make it count.
Forever a Jr. Billiken. 💙🤍

On June 19, 1865, the last enslaved people in Texas finally learned they were free — over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Freedom delayed is still freedom worth celebrating.
Today we honor that history and keep building toward a future with real opportunity for all. 🚀

Taiwan’s architecture really stopped me in my tracks. So much history packed into every building — temples, shrines, old streets. Grateful I got to take it all in.
