If you’ve read every ADHD book but still feel stuck, you’re not alone.
Over 75% of my clients come in saying the same thing:
“I know what I’m supposed to do... I just can’t seem to do it.”
Here’s the thing. Most ADHD strategies online or in books sound helpful until you actually try them.
Take time blocking. Sounds simple, right? But:
• Which kind of time blocking should you use?
• Do you plan based on the task—or your energy level?
• What about transitions, interruptions, or time blindness?
The same goes for things like using a planner. What do you even write in it? How often should you check it? No one really explains how to make it ADHD-friendly.
So when these tips don’t magically work, we blame ourselves. We assume we’re too disorganized. Too far gone. Too “bad” at ADHD.
But hey, great news everyone! You’re not broken; you just haven’t had the right kind of support yet.
That’s where ADHD coaching comes in. I help my clients figure out how to make those strategies actually work for them—step by step, with no shame in the mix.

RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria) is a pretty common ADHD symptom, and I talk about it almost daily with clients. And yet, I still manage to discover new ways for it to show up in my own life: like disappointment.

Let me walk you through a poem by X,
Starting out, there’s strong suggestion of depression, as we’ve all heard that grey days are particularly bad ones. Somehow though, they still idealize these days and miss them occasionally. Depression has a way of tricking the brain into thinking it’s a warm, fuzzy blanket that will always keep them safe. Try to remind yourself that this isn’t the case. ADHD has strong ties to time loss and sometimes even dissociation too. It’s easy for them, and easy for most of us all at some point, to feel like time is speeding up, or “passing by.” I’m here to let you know that it’s okay to grieve the times in which you weren’t able to be/feel fully present. It’s okay, too, to not feel any particular ties to the “daze” in which you were struggling.
Each day opens up new opportunities for new days and new memories, new poems and new life. Existence won’t always be plain. Keep holding on to that new life, and know there are big things ahead when time continues to take flight.

What does an ADHD coach even do???
Coaching is definitely a vague sort of word, with a LOT of different people defining and practicing coaching in vastly different ways.
This infographic is a very brief, not-at-all-inclusive list of some of the common challenges, goals, and solutions I investigate with my clients. Hope you find it helpful!
