As we prepare for Celebrate Chaminade next week, we realized it has been many years since we made an official recording of the Chaminade Fight Song. Thanks to the Chaminade Wind Ensemble for rising to the occasion to not just play the Fight Song, but sing it as well!

The band program was pretty busy during our 4 day week. Wind Ensemble worked hard to record the fight song in class so that it can be used by our Chaminade community. Some guys played their instruments while some of our band members switched gears and sang the lyrics to the fight song. The recording turned out great and will help spread school spirit for many years to come. Combo 1 is hard at work learning jazz riffs to bulk up their improv “vocabulary”. Then, we ended the week with a pep band performance at the football game. Although the game didn’t end as we hoped, the band had a great time hyping up the spectators and showing off their school spirit. Thanks for your hard work last week gentlemen!

The veteran members of Red Devil Rhythm spent the morning playing in the parade for Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s parish picnic. The guys did a great job! They played well and even got to talk with some of the elementary students before the parade started. Thanks for sharing your talents with the community gentlemen!

Spring Jazz Concert 2026 is in the books! All of the jazz groups played very well. Our guest artist, Tom Rickard, was wonderful as well! Everyone in attendance also helped Mrs. Meyer celebrate her birthday lead by some members of the MS Jazz Band. What a great night!! We will see everyone Tuesday for rhe Spring Band Concert!

Congratulations to Ben Fischer ‘26, John Morgan ‘27, and Justin Wingbermuehle ‘29 on their performances at State Solo Festival today! All three of these young men sounded great and represented themselves well. Ben and Justin both received a Gold rating for their solo, and John received a Bronze rating. Well done, gentlemen!!
