Spring Break is Here! 🌴☀️
A friendly reminder that Spring Break will take place March 16–March 20, and there will be no school during this time. We hope our students, staff, and families enjoy a safe, relaxing, and fun week filled with rest and great memories.
Take this time to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy the break—you’ve earned it! 💚
We look forward to welcoming everyone back and hearing about your adventures when we return to school on Monday, March 23rd.
Have a wonderful Spring Break, Gators! 🐊

Last Friday, our students participated in a Reading Train during our DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time, and it was a wonderful sight! Students grabbed their favorite stories and their book buddies before lining the hallways. It was truly special to see our halls filled with students enjoying books together.

Our Read-A-Thon will continue through March 20. Please continue encouraging students to sign up and keep the reading momentum going. 📚✨

Our staff walked into a fun surprise on Wednesday morning! 📚✨
The admin team invited everyone on a “Blind Date with a Book” just in time for Spring Break. Each book was wrapped so the only clue was the genre, giving teachers and staff the chance to choose their next read based purely on curiosity and adventure.
It was a great way to spark a little excitement before break—now our team gets to head into Spring Break with a mystery story waiting to be unwrapped and enjoyed! 🌸📖

Join us for our Annual Culture Night, a special evening where our community comes together to celebrate the incredible cultures and diversity that make GSA South so unique! 🌎✨
Enjoy an exciting night filled with music, dancing, delicious food, cultural displays and traditions from around the world.
We are currently looking for parent volunteers who would like to represent a country, culture, or ethnic group. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your heritage and help our students learn about the world around them!
If you’re interested in participating, please fill out the form and return it to the school office.
