Congratulations to Julie Hahn, Ritenour School District assistant superintendent for student services, interventions and assessment, who received the 2021 Champion Award by PreventEd this spring.
The honor recognizes Hahn’s uncommon leadership in advocating for substance use prevention education. PreventEd, formerly known as the NCADA, recognized Hahn virtually this spring.
Hahn has focused her more than 30-year career in education on supporting the social-emotional and educational needs of diverse learners. In her current role in Ritenour, she coordinates programs and services that support the social-emotional needs of students by working with students and families in conjunction with counselors, social workers, interventionists, English language teachers and outside agencies.
