Spanish Enrichment at POA was full of energy and fun this week!
Students practiced their Spanish conversation skills, learned about the life of famous Latin singer Ricky Martin, listened to one of his songs, worked in their workbooks, and played “Matamoscas” (Flyswatter) to review numbers.

This week in Srta. Mayo’s Spanish class at Ketterlinus Elementary School!
Students learned about baseball star Alex Rodriguez (A-Rod) while practicing shapes and ordinal numbers in Spanish. Students got creative by designing their own fire trucks 🚒🎨. Then, volunteers stood at the front of the classroom as their classmates practiced identifying who was in first, second, and third place in Spanish!

Fun and learning in Mrs. Stark’s Spanish class at PVPV/Rawlings School!
Students reviewed colors with a fun Taco Tuesday game 🌮, practiced teamwork during a marker brain break, and learned numbers, body parts, and verbs through an interactive gestures game. We also enjoyed music by Ricky Martin 🎶 and explored Mexican culture by creating beautiful Papel Picado!
