Kennedy Middle School

Kennedy Middle School is located within the Lake Shore Public School District and houses over 700 6th-8th grade students.

The faculty and staff at Kennedy Middle School are committed to providing a high-quality education which
includes a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Through Professional Learning Communities, we will
collaboratively identify what each student must learn, monitor student's learning, provide systematic
interventions, and extend learning opportunities.

The Teacher Appreciation Closet is back this year! If you are willing to help us out, please visit our Amazon wishlist to view items we could use to help show everyone's appreciation for staff throughout the school year. We are also accepting donations of food or drink items to stock the teachers' lounge. Those items can be dropped off in the back office during orientation to Dr. Kubiak.

Picture Day for the 2026-2027 school year will take place on Orientation Day, Monday, August 31st!

If you are unable to make it to Orientation, make-up Picture Day will be Monday, September 21st.

Mark your calendars! We are so excited to offer a variety of fundraising nights this school year at local restaurants! Funds raised will help support student incentives and programs throughout the year, and it's a great opportunity to come together as a Clipper family!

More information will be provided for each fundraiser to make sure KMS gets credit for your meals! Plus, more fundraisers will be scheduled to close out the school year!

Mark your calendars! We're so excited to welcome our Clippers back to the building! Orientation will be on August 31st, and students should come during their grade-level times below:

8:00-10:00 - 8th grade
10:00-12:00 - 7th grade
1:00-3:00 - 6th grade

This is a self-guided event so students do not need to be present during the entire time period.
