I’ve made the decision to switch up 2 weeks of Summer Camp!! Week 4 will now be WILD ANIMALS week and Week 6 will now be WATER ANIMALS week!! Maybe we can still add some holiday or seasons stuff to these week but ANIMALS are always a favorite at the Shack so let’s give the campers what they want!!

The last field trip of the year was with the kindergarten class from St. Issac Jogues! I love this spunky group of kids!
Their teacher Mrs. Mare planned this fun field trip just before they graduated and are now preparing to be first graders!
We read the Lonely Lighthouse about a lighthouse in Michigan on Little Sable Point in Mears, MI.
We used two painting techniques- watercolor and dabbing tempera paint to create a picture of Michigan with a lighthouse.
Not pictured are the snails we made with air dry clay and pipe cleaners 🐌
Such a fun time!

I have been so busy getting ready for summer I forgot to close out the school year! I had two super fun field trips at the end of May!
Greenwood Elementary Young Fives class led by the amazing Mrs. Berrada!
We read the book the Artist. Then we used watercolors and crayons to create our own artistic masterpieces!

Golden hour last night at the Shack. Dusk in the summer is my favorite time of day. 🧡

New whiteboard- if you know you know!

Poor old whiteboard 6 yrs old going on 100 we sure beat it up ❤️
