Meet one of our NEW teachers starting THIS summer! Hello! My name is Meredith Kessler, and I am an aspiring musician who has an avid interest in inspiring other people through music. There has never been a time in my life, at least that I can remember, where music was not a part of it! At the age of five, I started piano lessons, and have been playing ever since. Whether it be during church services, competitions such as solo and ensemble, or just for fun, piano has been a big part of my musical career! Along with piano, I
was, and still am, an active singer. I started with singing in church choirs and choirs at school. I was eventually drawn to doing some musical theater, and then eventually opera, where I am now. I have been very fortunate to have so many great teachers through my life to inspire my love for music. My first piano teacher, Belinda Joseph, was an amazing mentor and teacher who made me fall in love with learning and playing piano! I also had, and still have, many amazing voice teachers, such as Dr. Leslie Jones, Dr. Karen Kanakis, and Dr. Jacob Lassetter. They have been able to broaden my appreciation for singing as well as teaching, and I will be forever grateful for these amazing musicians! My goal as a piano and voice teacher is to help students develop an even deeper love for music, and helping this love grow through exciting and fun lessons!
