Greetings Snrs,
The Board of Directors has watched with deep thoughts and sympathy recent obituaries concerning Snrs. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify ANA's position on welfare/support for bereaved families.
1. ANA's prime goal is to coordinate efforts and resources for Prempeh. Welfare issues are therefore to be handled by regional/year groups as they deem fit. ANA does not intend to have a welfare program.
2. In the unfortunate event of the death of an ANA Snr, ANA will
a. supplement efforts by the regional/year group of the deceased Snr(if any) by ENCOURAGING voluntary individual contributions through announcements on ANA platforms(WhatsApp, facebook, website, etc).
b. reach out to the family and send raised amounts directly to them.
c. announce our support with a 'tribute' to be read at the funeral of the deceased(in conjunction with the year group where applicable).
In regards to point 2 above, we are aware of funeral arrangements for fellow Snrs this weekend. We are therefore encouraging all Snrs to support the bereaved families through voluntary contributions via gofundme accounts being administered by Snr Risco:
