The Department of Public Safety would like to congratulate Student Community Service Officer Evan Murray on graduating today from Western New England University!

It has been an incredible honor to have SCSO Murray along for the ride all these years. Starting off as a Student Cadet, his dedication to his craft never went unnoticed! Evan always gave it his all and his positive energy was always so contagious!

We thank you for all these years of service and friendship. We are all so excited to see the heights you will reach in the future! The sky is the limit! Good luck and congratulations Evan!

We had a blast at Bear Glow last night, and we’re back for more at the Bear Fair!

We know finals are approaching, but be sure to take some time to unwind and swing by the Commonwealth Hall Lawn to enjoy some food, games, and carnival rides!

**ATTENTION**

The University will be closed tomorrow Monday, February 23. The Residence Halls, Dining, Computer Labs, Facilities and Housekeeping will remain open/staffed.

All in-person activities/classes are canceled for the day, but some classes may be held remotely at the discretion of your professor so be sure to check your emails!

The University’s Inclement Weather Policy can be found on the WNE website home page, and any updates will be sent through the WNE ALERT app

Be sure to check your email for the full closing details and for future updates!

Good Afternoon Golden Bears!

Heavy snow and strong winds are forecasted to begin tonight with approximately 10 to 24 inches of snowfall expected!

Please do not operate your vehicles during the storm unless absolutely necessary. If it is necessary to drive, drive with caution as the blizzard conditions will result in low visibility.

Make sure to download the WNE ALERT app for campus updates and alerts. We will provide updates as they become available!

The Department of Public Safety would like to shout-out and send a huge thank you to the entire Facilities Management team for working tirelessly these last few days, and helping us out with the Snow Removal Plan!

To our Golden Bear community, thank you for your assistance and for your patience. All vehicles may now return to their designated parking lots!

Good Morning Golden Bears!

We are now entering Phase 2 of the Snow Removal Plan! All vehicles parked in the West Lot may now return to their designated parking lots.

Need a ride? Be sure to keep an eye out for a CSO driving the University Vans, as we will be providing escorts to the West Lot!
