Hello 1983 SHS Classmates,
Your Reunion Committee has received the sad news that one of our beloved high school social studies teachers and former mayor of Springfield Bill Morrisette has passed at the age of 93. Services will be on Monday, April 28 at 12:15 PM at St. Alice Church 1520 E Street, Springfield. A reception will follow. Our condolences go out to Keira Morrisette and the entire Morrisette family.

Hello 1983 SHS Classmates:
Your Reunion Committee received the sad news that one of our PE teachers & coach JC Johnson passed away recently. A detailed obituary was in today’s paper and is on the Eugene Register Guard site (http://www.registerguard.com/obituaries/pore1050891). A Celebration of Life is planned for February 22, 2025 at 3 PM at the Springfield Elks Lodge.

Your Reunion Committee received the sad news that Bob Harral has passed away. According to family, Bob passed peacefully in his sleep earlier this week. More details will be coming soon and will be posted here. This photo was of Bob as he celebrated our 40th Reunion with us at the Friday night gathering.

Your reunion committee just got the news of the passing of one of our classmates, Curt Bosisto. More details will be posted later as they become available. This photo was last summer as Curt celebrated with us for our 40th Reunion.

Many thanks to Kit Kesey for his generous concert event with Blues Traveler at the Cuthbert Amphitheatre for our classmates and friends and family for our 40th Class Reunion Saturday night event. Thanks Kit for the attention to details, the special VIP entrance, drinks, VIP concert sticker and Guest VIP tent with water and snacks. You are the BEST! You are now an honorary Reunion committee member (for life) and your Reunion committee members look forward to planning future reunion events with you! You are the BEST!

Special thanks to Katrina Morss Commesso for staying up late to make the name tags for our Friday night mixer at Prime Time and helping plan the Sunday lunch event. You did a wonderful job! Many classmates were glad to have name tags on Friday night to jog their memories as to who was who.
