WCHS boys basketball tryouts will be held Sunday, October 11, in the WCHS gym.

🏀 Freshman: 2–4:30 p.m.
🏀 Upperclassmen: 5–7 p.m.

Football players will have tryouts after football season.

The concession stand and restrooms are located on the south side of the stadium.

🚫 Parents and spectators must remain in the stands — no access to the track or sidelines

🥎 WELCOME TO THE FAMILY, COACH TAYLER! 🥎

We are incredibly excited to welcome Coach Tayler as our new softball coach! 💙

Coach Tayler’s love for softball began at just six years old while growing up in Oregon and Washington. By 2023, she was competing at a high level of travel softball, traveling throughout the United States and Canada and taking the field against some of the nation’s top teams.

One of the highlights of her playing career came in 2023, when she was honored to be the starting catcher for Team Canada at the TCIC International Challenge. She helped lead the team to a Gold Medal! 🥇🇨🇦

Although unforeseen medical circumstances ultimately brought her playing career to an early close, her passion for the game and competitive spirit never left. After moving to Kentucky, Coach Tayler dreamed of bringing that same high-level competitive softball experience to young athletes here.

As we look toward the 2027 season, Coach Tayler’s vision goes far beyond wins and losses. She is committed to building strong relationships with players and families, developing a powerful booster program, and creating a competitive environment where young women can grow both on and off the field.

Most importantly, she wants to keep mental health, confidence, and a genuine love for the game at the heart of the program. 💙🥎
