Way to go Dr. Craig!

Did you know that Missouri State University has a Disability Studies Minor? We were so excited to have the intro class stop by and learn more about empower: abilities and how we serve the community. We talked about ways Centers for Independent Living continue the work of advocacy started by pioneers in the Independent Living Movement.

DAS 100 taught by Dr. Chris Craig is an Introduction to Disability Studies that provides a multidisciplinary introduction to the many dimensions of Disability Studies, including the history, social, cultural, political, legal, and economic perspectives on disability in American society. https://catalog.missouristate.edu/preview_program.php?catoid=6&poid=1813&hl=%22disability+studies%22&returnto=search
