1) Full-time X-Ray Technologist (Radiographer) needed for a busy Orthopedic surgery practice in Chevy Chase. Two years of X-ray experience is preferred but willing to hire new graduates. Parking, life & disability coverage are all paid in full. Roughly two-thirds of the health (Aetna) & dental coverage premiums are paid by the practice, as well as 7 holidays, and 13 days of paid leave. A 401k Profit-Sharing plan with employer match is offered after the first year of employment. Performance appraisals occur annually. Monday through Friday hours.
2) This is an excellent opportunity to work with happy, low turnover staff. Full-time X-Ray Technologist (Radiographer) needed for a busy Orthopaedic surgery practice near Montgomery Mall. Two years of X-ray experience is required at a minimum as well as current Maryland licensure. We are a well-respected private practice with 12 surgeons, 21 therapists, and a 100-person support staff. Parking, life & disability coverage are all paid in full. Roughly two-thirds of the health (Aetna) & dental coverage premiums are paid by the practice, as well as 7 holidays, and 13 days of paid leave. A 401k Profit-Sharing plan with employer match is offered after the first year of employment. Performance appraisals occur annually.
Monday through Friday hours. Possible 4 day work week. Up to $43 an hour depending on experience.

VA Licensure change
The Virginia Board of Medicine has changed their education verification process for obtaining licensure in Virginia effective November 2022. The Board now requires that radiologic technologist applicants submit their official NOVA transcript to prove graduation. The RAD department can no longer send the education verification form (Form L). Radiography graduates may only get their official NOVA transcript from the College Records Office at www.nvcc.edu/transcripts.

A small Orthopedic Urgent Care in Arlington is seeking a qualified X-Ray Tech to work with their outpatient office.
Hours: Monday- Friday, 10 am-6 pm (the last patient is at 5 pm).
We see about 20 patients daily and typically take 10-15 x-rays daily.
Duties include X-rays and MA duties (applying DMEs, casting/splinting, etc.).
Must have a VA license and be AART certified.
We seek someone who can shoot quality images.
The equipment is Del Medical and Fujifilm.
We provide full benefits.

Training Opportunity:
This summer, Tidewater Community College is offering RAD 299 Supervised Study in MRI, which is a one-credit MRI Registry Review course that is completely online through Canvas!
RAD 299 breaks down the MRI Registry content into 4 sections per the ARRT Content Specifications: Patient Care, Safety, Procedures, and Image Production.
This one-credit course will provide 16 continuing education credits (ARRT).
RAD 299 begins May 24th and runs through Aug 3rd.
