Hello, September (a little belated)! 🍂🍎

A new month means new beginnings, new friendships, and so many opportunities to learn and grow!

At SEVCA Head Start, we are excited for all that September will bring to our children and families. From exploring our classrooms to building relationships with teachers and making new friends, the beginning of the school year is such a special time. ❤️

Our first day of school was yesterday and our teachers and center staff were so excited to have everyone back. We heard so many positive, amazing stories from our staff about their first day with the children. This year is off to a great start!

Can you believe August is already coming to an end? 🍂 It feels like summer flew by, and we're getting excited for a brand-new school year filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships!

🍂 Back-to-School is Almost Here!

We are welcoming our Teachers & Family Partners back today for the 1st Day of our SEVCA Head Start Pre-Service. The next two weeks will be filled with classroom set-ups, trainings, team building, and home visits with our families for the new school year!🌟

Here are some great tips to get your kiddos ready for the new school year!!

As routines begin to change, try these simple tips:
✅ Read together each day
✅ Practice putting on backpacks
✅ Talk about feelings
✅ Get plenty of sleep

Small routines now help make big transitions easier later.
