Due to the winter storm, grab-n-go meal services at Springfield Public Schools will be closed today, Monday, February 1, 2021.
All meal sites will re-open Tuesday, February 2nd with grab-n-go service open from 2:00pm-6:00pm for anyone 18 or under at the following schools: Bowles, Brookings, Central, Chestnut, DeBerry, Duggan, Forest Park, Harris, Indian Orchard, Lincoln, Milton Bradley, Putnam, Rebecca Johnson, Talmadge, Van Sickle, Warner, Washington, and Zanetti.
Regular meal service is scheduled to continue Wednesday, February 3rd and Friday, February 5th at all listed locations. On Fridays, Central distribution is open from 9:00am –5:00 pm in conjunction with the Oasis drive-thru pantry.
Any child or teen 18 or under is eligible for the meal program. No ID necessary to receive meals, they do not need to be from Springfield, live in Springfield, or attend Springfield Public Schools. Adults may pick meals up on behalf of the child or teen.
