Special congratulations to individual State Champion Eliza Goldberg on her 1st place finish in the 7th Grade 400M, along with our 5 State Champion relay teams!

While we celebrate the trophies and medals earned, we are even more proud of the hard work, teamwork, character, and resilience shown by all of our student-athletes throughout the season.

Thank you to our dedicated coaches, supportive school community, and everyone who helped make this a track & field season to remember.

We were happy to welcome back 16 members of the SCS Class of 2022 this week! These graduating high school seniors greeted our current Wildcats, reconnected with teachers and staff, and even had time for a quick PE class. Congratulations, graduates!

Congratulations to long-time SCS Basketball Coach Craig (CJ) Jeffers, who was named a Coach of the Year by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association! The honor caps off a state championship season for Coach Jeffers and the 8th grade girls team; plus, it is the fourth time he has been named an IBCA Coach of the Year. Even more important, though, are his years of faithful, sacrificial service to our school. His legacy is one of humble leadership, and we are so thankful for him. Congratulations, Coach Jeffers!

We are celebrating the SCS Track & Field team’s outstanding performance at the 2026 IESA 2A Sectional Championship in New Berlin last weekend! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🏆 7th Grade Girls — Sectional Champions
🥈 7th Grade Boys — Runner-Up

⭐ 17 Individual Sectional Champions
⭐ 9 Relay Sectional Championships
⭐ Champions in all 4x200 and 4x400 relay races
⭐ 37 athletes qualified for State! 💪👏

What an incredible performance by our Wildcats! Your hard work, determination, and teamwork continue to make our school proud. We’re cheering you on as you compete and represent SCS at the State Meet this weekend! 🐾

Congratulations to the SCS Scholastic Bowl team on an outstanding season, concluding with a 3rd-place finish at the IESA Class A State Tournament!

The Wildcats completed the regular season with an impressive 26–4 record and also went 7–0 to win the top division of the PPMS Ben Theilen Memorial Tournament (defeating two eventual state tournament teams).

They worked together as a true team—each player bringing a unique set of skills and knowledge that contributed to the strength of the whole. Special thanks to coaches Tami Schroeder, Jack Sandel, and Jenna Stewart for all of their investment through the season.
