Hello Everyone!

On January 18th at 7pm, everyone should join us for a virtual celebration of "The Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." presented by Dr. Vicki Vernon Lott. This is a free program that is co-sponsored by Greater Springfield Campaign Nonviolence and the Center for Social Justice at WNE Law School, as well as the WNEU Office of Diversity Programs and Services

We as a club believe it is an important event to attend! Come on out and support! Sign up today! The link to register is below:

Thank You to everyone who participated in the conversation tonight about protests and the movement that was amplified after the murder of George Floyd. WNE alum, faculty, and current students, We appreciate everyone for speaking their minds and having the willingness to hear each other . We had some great points that were made tonight and we encourage all of you to continue to educate yourselves and have the difficult conversations that need to be had. I encourage you all to uplift one another and make change happen even if it’s a small one. I know this is easier said than done and will take time but the mindset has to change in order to get it done. We need to use our voices and spread the message.

We Thank You!!
Sincerely,
Pilar Betts & Adell Gadzey

If you're staying on OR off campus , and are experiencing food insecurity, meaning you find yourself running short on food, please remember that we have the Bear Necessities Market open on campus. Although the campus is closed if you come in, it would be best to make an appointment so you can get a gift card to Big Y supermarket and some food from the market. Please let me know privately and will assist you, so you will have food.

Be Safe.
