ATTN: 1-6th grade Missouri educators
Dr. Precise is conducting some research for her sabbatical in the spring - would you have a few minutes to do this survey? Thank you!
Abstract Describing Project: The purpose of this study is to identify effectives ways in which elementary teachers integrate writing strategies into content area lesson planning. In this study, Content Areas refer to subject-specific lessons outside of literacy instruction, particularly mathematics, science, and social studies instruction. Findings will be utilized to present at education conferences, in writing journal articles for publication, and to integrate into current education courses. This topic is being explored as a comparative study to determine changes in instructional strategies pre- and post- AI integration specifically in the area of writing in the content areas to increase comprehension. This is a comparative study of data collected in fall 2023 vs fall 2025.
