To all the moms who are looking for extra little things for your kiddos to do; I found this awesome website that has really amazing writing prompts for elementary school age kiddos. I bought each one of the kids a new composition book (glittery ones for the girls to make them extra excited about writing) and I give them a new prompt every Monday and Wednesday. They actually look forward to this!! It’s a great way to practice their handwriting and writing skills. We’ve been working on sentence structure, grammar, word usage, and a ton of other ELA stuff. Then I “grade” it afterwards. No actual grade, just corrections here and there with a colored pen. Lol

AND THAT’S A WRAP!! Today might have been the best recital we’ve ever had. I am BEYOND proud of my Staff piano babies. A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who came out to support us and the arts and also to the wonderful staff at the Auberge at Vintage Lakes.
And now to prepare for May 30 and the 2020 Spring Recital!

Alyssa and her brothers started piano with me in August and look how far she’s gotten! She blows me away weekly. It’s hard to believe that a few months ago, she was learning her finger numbers for the first time. 🥰
My deepest condolences go out to Cherry and Jillian Fuller tonight. Their family has lost a husband and a father. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow. Sending love to all my piano families ❤️
