Wow!

What an amazing weekend celebrating Gonzaga's seniors at the women's and men's games.
As a second-semester senior, it's come time in the semester to deepen my reflection on my GU experience and to continue to celebrate all this school has to offer-including going to Kennel Campout for one last game in the Kennel.

I think it's great to be able to take some academic breaks and celebrate extracurriculars like basketball, don't you?

The power of storytelling!

Earlier this year, I stood in front of 200 people at Story Slam and shared a piece of my life—a vulnerable, real, and honest moment. It was both nerve-wracking and empowering, but more than anything, it reminded me why storytelling matters. Stories connect us. They create space for vulnerability, understanding, and empathy.

When we open up, we invite others to do the same, building authentic connections that go beyond the surface.

Grateful for this experience and for a community that listens, supports, and shares. Here’s to more stories, more connection, and more courage to speak our truths.

Grateful & Honored!

I was so honored to receive the Experiences Matter award! Over the past three years as a student marketing intern, I’ve had the opportunity to create, connect, and celebrate the amazing student employees who make campus life better every day. From coordinating appreciation events to sharing stories through social media, I’ve loved being part of a team that values recognition and impact.

This award is a reminder that when people feel seen and appreciated, they bring their best selves to work.

Recognition matters. Experiences matter. People matter.

Huge thank you to my boss and teammates for making this such a meaningful experience! 🙌

Trust, teamwork, and a little bit of adventure!

This weekend, my Outdoor Leadership class took on the trails of Mt. Spokane, and it was more than just a backpacking trip—it was a lesson in connection, vulnerability, and growth. From navigating the terrain to supporting each other through challenges, we learned that trust and teamwork aren’t just skills, they’re the foundation of meaningful relationships.

Being out in nature pushes us to rely on one another, to be open, and to embrace the discomfort that comes with learning. When we create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported, that’s where real growth happens.

Grateful for the opportunity to step outside (literally) and build stronger connections with this amazing group! 🏕️💪

A sweet celebration for some of the hardest-working students!

As part of my job as a Zag Dining student marketing intern, we hosted a Student Employee Appreciation Party filled with cupcakes, creativity, and connection.

Our student employees are the heart of our campus, balancing work, school, and life with dedication and resilience. Taking the time to celebrate and appreciate their efforts isn’t just important—it’s essential. From decorating Valentines to enjoying sweet treats, this was a small way to say thank you for all they do. Because when employees feel valued and seen, they thrive!

Tag a student worker who deserves some extra appreciation today!
