ANNOUNCING - TIGER LEGACY FOUNDATION - The only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created by Alumni to provide scholarships to seniors, and grants to fund programs and activities that will enhance educational opportunities for students and build community and legacy.

FIRST FUNDRAISER FOR TLF - GOLF TOURNAMENT - SEPT. 7, 2025 - MEADOWWOOD GOLF COURSE, SPOKANE - Go to our website www.tigerlegacyfoundation.org to register or to donate. After the tournament we will have a buffet, golf prizes, silent and live auction items and a raffle. Plus, golfers will have a chance to win a new car if they get a hole in one!!!

UPDATE!!!! LEWIS AND CLARK ALUMNI/STUDENT ART SHOW & SALE - SAVE THE DATE, MAY 11 & 12, 2024, AT THE LEWIS AND CLARK COMMONS BUILDING. Earlier, on November 25, 2023, I posted about my Class of 1966's plan to do our first fundraiser to include alumni from other classes. Our theme is “Building A Legacy”. We want to bring all alumni together, build relationships, increase our fund base and create annual donors for scholarships from The LC Tiger Fund which gives scholarships to students who have experienced adversity and/or hardships in their lives, have earned good grades through high school, have participated in school and community activities and want to continue their education past high school but have financial needs. A lot of planning has been done since then and we are well on our way to making this an AMAZING event. LC art teachers, Chad Brazill and Lynda Rypien, will be the curators of the art pieces. SO MUCH MORE TO COME AS WE MOVE FORWARD.

NOW WE NEED ARTISTS – We are searching for anyone who graduated from LC to be part of this worthwhile cause. Please email me at [email protected] with names and phone numbers and/or email addresses of anyone you know who is an artist and went to LC. We will then contact them. We are looking for donations to 100% benefit the fund, or donations where the fund and the artist will split the proceeds.

Included in my post are some pieces of art done by LC Alumni artists who will be participating in the show and sale. So many more examples to follow.

To all of my wonderful classmates, yesterday we lost one of our own. Sherry Porter Anderson, wife for 52 1/2 years to another classmate, Jerry Anderson, passed away. See the class email I sent out last night for details. 💔😇😪
