Have you ever mixed up Baking Powder and Baking Soda in a recipe? It doesn’t make for tasty baked goods. Ask me how I know??
We had a mystery in the kitchen- why are things browning too quickly? Why do some of these items taste off but others are fine? We solved the mystery when I discovered that one of the bags of baking powder I got from a supplier was actually baking soda! The good news is that this isn’t dangerous. The bad news is that it’s not tasty and doesn’t meet our standards.
We want to make this right. Every sealed pack we make has a batch number inside the label- if your item batch number is between 26235000 and 26248000 please discard the item and email me ([email protected]) so I can make it right.
It will take us a few weeks to build our inventory back up. I appreciate your patience! Please stay tuned for some changes to our Farmers Market schedule, as well.
