I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported, encouraged, and believed in me throughout this journey. From the messages, shares, prayers, and kind words — your support has meant more than I can ever express.

Although I did not win this election, I’m incredibly proud of the campaign we ran — one that was rooted in kindness, honesty, and a deep love for our students, teachers, and community. This experience has only strengthened my commitment to our schools, and I will continue to serve and support Splendora in every way I can.

I want to congratulate Travis "Doc" Jones on his victory. I wish him wisdom, strength, and success as he steps into his new role. Our students and staff deserve leaders who will listen and put them first, and I genuinely hope for great things ahead for Splendora ISD.

This may not have been the ending we hoped for, but it is not the end of the work. I will keep showing up — for our kids, our teachers, and this community that I love so much.

As we head into Election Day, I just want to say thank you — for every encouraging word, every share, every yard sign, and every vote of confidence. I’m so grateful for everyone who has supported, encouraged, and believed in me. This campaign has been about one thing — our kids. This is our chance to ensure our schools stay strong, safe, and supportive for every child and teacher. Together, we can build a stronger Splendora for our students, teachers, and families.

Our teachers are the heart of Splendora ISD. They work tirelessly to educate, inspire, and care for our kids every day. School boards make decisions about curriculum, safety, staffing, and resources. These choices shape what happens in every classroom. As a former teacher and assistant principal, I understand what support really means — respect, resources, and a voice that’s heard.

Voting in this election means having a say in how our schools grow.
