Our next Purple Scarf Spotlight goes to the lovely and fabulous, Sarah Wilson! Sarah is our Director of Communications and she is a Biology Major. She is involved with Zeta Tau Alpha and has previously served the roles as the Education Chair and Risk Reduction Chair. She spent her last summer interning at Blue Ridge Pediatrics. Sarah loves to spend her free time wake boarding, hiking, snowboarding, and sleeping! Thank you, Sarah, for all of the success and positivity you bring to Purple Scarf.

As a Wofford Senior, she is an English major with a creative writing concentration. She is involved with Wofford Companions and also works in the Admissions Office at Wofford. Fun Fact: In Adelaide’s spare time, she loves to needlepoint and explore new restaurants. This past summer, she was an intern for for Birmingham Education Foundation. Congratulations on your success, Adelaide, and thank you for all that you do for Purple Scarf!

Our first Purple Scarf Society Spotlight goes to the incredible Executive Director, Lauren Phillips. Lauren is a Senior and is majoring in Spanish with a Business minor. Aside from being involved with PSS, she is also a Wofford Ambassador and Director of Member Enrichment for Zeta Tau Alpha. This past summer she worked for Rigor as a Sales Development Intern. Fun Fact: After graduation she plans to return to Rigor to be a Sales Development Representative!!! We are so proud of you, Lauren, and we can't wait to watch you through your continued success!!! We had such a great time at our Networking Event yesterday! Thank you to our 16 professional women for taking time to talk with us about your careers. A special thanks to Kinli Abee, the Assistant Attorney General of SC and our guest speaker, who gave wonderful advice about how to handle life during your college years, your first job, and moving forward with your professional career!
