🎉 Congratulations to our 2026–2027 WCMS Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Amanda McCulley! 🎉

Mrs. McCulley is an 8th grade math teacher whose impact can be felt throughout White County Middle School. She is incredibly intentional in her teaching - every lesson, every question, and every decision has a purpose. She sets high expectations for her students, pushes them to reach their potential, and gives them the support they need to get there.

Her dedication to our Warriors extends far beyond her own classroom. Mrs. McCulley helps organize tutoring opportunities for our students, leads our Fantastic Friday celebrations, and supports our girls soccer program. She continually steps up wherever she is needed to make WCMS a better place for students and staff.

Mrs. McCulley represents so much of what we value at WCMS: high expectations, hard work, intentionality, and a commitment to students. We are incredibly proud to have her represent our school as our 2026–2027 Teacher of the Year!

🧡 October is National Bullying Prevention Month! 🛡️

At WCMS, we want every Warrior who walks through our doors to know they belong here.

A safe, welcoming, and inclusive school is something we ALL help create—through the way we speak to one another, the way we treat people who may be different from us, the way we include others, and the choices we make when we see someone being mistreated.

That’s why our message this month is:

🛡️ IT TAKES ARMOR.

Throughout October, our Warriors will be learning to Know It. See It. Do Something. We’ll talk about recognizing bullying, supporting others, speaking up, and making choices that help create the kind of school community we want WCMS to be.

Because belonging matters. Kindness matters. Respect matters. And every one of us has a part in making sure ALL Warriors feel welcome at WCMS.

🌱💙 Growing Leaders Through FFA! 💛🌱

Last week, WCMS FFA members had the opportunity to attend the FFA Discovery Leadership Conference!

This conference is designed especially for middle school FFA members, giving students the chance to discover all the ways FFA can impact their lives—both now and in the future. Throughout the day, students connected with other middle school FFA members while building valuable life and leadership skills through activities focused on interviewing, teamwork, communication, and more!

We are proud of our Warriors for taking advantage of opportunities that help them grow as students, leaders, and future professionals! 🛡️🌟

Come out and help us give these boys the send-off they deserve! We’ll be gathering at 3:30 PM at First Baptist Church, off N. Spring Street and Bockman.

📣 Bring your signs, your voices, and ALL your school spirit! Let’s line the route, make some noise, and cheer these boys on as they’re escorted out of town on their way to Tullahoma for the Championship Game! 🏆🏈

These boys have worked hard all season, and tomorrow we get to show them just how proud our community is of them!

Come out and support our White County Middle School Football team as they take on Shelbyville in the Lions Bowl next Tuesday!

🎟️ TICKET INFORMATION ($7):Tickets are on sale this week and next at the WCMS front desk from 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM!👉 Please buy your tickets in advance at WCMS! All proceeds from tickets purchased at the middle school go directly to our football program. Money used to purchase tickets at the gate on gameday will not be given to our team.

🎟️ Pass Gate: TSSAA & TACA passes (with photo ID) accepted at the north entrance pass gate on the home side

🚨 CLEAR BAG POLICY IN EFFECT: Tullahoma City Schools strictly enforces a clear bag policy at athletic events. Please check the graphic attached below for full details on permitted bags before heading out!
