STEM Super Saturday - Game On (PreK-8th Grades) - September 19, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Ready to play? Join us for Game On! STEM Super Saturday, a fun-filled morning where sports and STEM come together! Families will explore how science, technology, engineering, and mathematics help athletes train, compete, and improve performance. Through hands-on activities and exciting demonstrations, participants will discover the STEM behind favorite sports, test their own skills, and tackle engineering challenges.

Designed for children in PreK–8th grade and their families, this free event features engaging stations for everyone. Whether you're shooting hoops, racing a ball down a ramp, exploring reaction time, or designing sports equipment, you'll see that STEM is always in the game!

Registration is free. Bring the whole family and come play, learn, and discover!

Super Saturdays are free, Saturday workshops in hands-on science and math for young learners and their families. These interactive programs are age-appropriate for PreK-8th graders and encourage family participation.

A parent/guardian must remain with the student/students regardless of age. Safari Saturdays are flexible events, come and go as your family’s schedule allows.

This event is FREE and open to the public!

Registration is highly encouraged for planning purposes, but it is not required.

Note: We’re excited to announce a new format for our family STEM events! Beginning with the Fall 2026– Spring 2027 semesters, Fab Fridays for 5th–8th grade and Safari Saturdays for Pre-K–3rd grade will combine into Super Saturday events for students in Pre-K through 8th grade and their families.

🏈🎶 THAT WARRIOR FEELING! 🤍❤️

There’s nothing quite like a touchdown at White County Middle School — especially when the Warrior Band is there to celebrate it! 🙌

Our first home football game of the season is giving us ALL the reasons to be proud. From our Warriors on the field to our student musicians in the stands and our cheerleaders encouraging the crowd to join, we love seeing our students show up, support one another, and make WCMS such a special place to be.

🌾 HARVESTING HOPE | WCMS FFA 💙💛

Our WCMS FFA Chapter is proud to participate in Harvesting Hope, a joint effort between FFA and 4-H to support families right here in White County!

🥫 We are collecting nonperishable food items to benefit the White County Help Center Food Pantry, and White County Middle School is a donation drop-off location!

Starting the week of August 17, schools will be conducting safety drills in collaboration with local emergency agencies. These drills include practicing procedures for fire, lockdown, and inclement weather emergencies. Please do not be alarmed if you notice an increased presence of emergency personnel on our campuses as these exercises are a routine part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students.

🛡️ WHAT A START, WARRIORS!

Our first few days of the 2026–2027 school year are officially in the books, and we couldn’t be more excited about the year ahead!

From kicking off our first day with a schoolwide pep rally 🎉 to getting settled into classrooms, reconnecting with friends, and completing our first iReady Inform assessments, our Warriors have had a busy start—and they’ve done a great job! ❤️🩶

🍕 Thank you, WCMS families!

We had a wonderful evening connecting with families during Countywide Open House at our first Pizza with the Principals!

It was a great opportunity to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students and staff, share our goals for the 2026–2027 school year, and highlight the exciting things happening at White County Middle School. From earning Top 5 rankings across the Upper Cumberland to continued academic growth and a significant improvement in attendance, we have so much to celebrate—and even more to look forward to!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with us. We appreciate your partnership and your continued support of our students, staff, and school.
