💙🤍 A MESSAGE FROM SPARTA SPORTS BOOSTERS🤍💙

Today’s events in Sparta were frightening and unsettling for our entire community. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, and we extend our sincere condolences to all those involved.

Amid the fear and uncertainty, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the coaches who were looking after our Sparta athletes and students during the lockdown. Some players yards away from the situation.

Our coaches were faced with managing not only their own concerns and fears, but also the worries, questions, and emotions of the students entrusted to their care. In an incredibly difficult situation, they had to be a source of reassurance, guidance, and strength for our kids.

To every coach who stepped up to protect, support, and comfort our athletes today — thank you. We know this was not easy, and we are grateful for the care you showed our students when they needed it most.

Today reminds us that being part of Sparta athletics is about so much more than the game. It’s about community, caring for one another, and showing up when it matters most.

Please keep everyone affected in your thoughts as our community begins to process today’s events. 💙🤍

💙🤍Once a Spartan, always a Spartan. 💙🤍
